David Koch, one of the famous (or infamous depending on your perspective) Koch brothers passed away Friday per a letter from his brother, Charles. David was 79 years old. The precise cause of death has not been disclosed but is likely related to his 27 year battle with prostate cancer.
“Send her back! Send her back!” This was the chant that echoed through the Williams Arena in Greenville North Carolina on Wednesday when President Trump brought up Ilhan Omar. Today Alabama Governor Kay Ivey (R) signed “The Alabama Human Life Protection Act” into law. The act effectively bans abortion procedures within the state, except in cases where the life of the mother is at risk. The act was originally introduced in the Alabama state House as HB 314 back in April and passed the state Senate yesterday by a 25-6 vote largely along party lines.
