The teens of America are really taking initiative after the Parkland, Florida shooting. They’ve got a national platform and each child is sucking this moment for all its worth. These kids are on all the major news networks taking a stand for gun control. They are unapologetic about it too. Cursing and making speeches, putting fists in the air, disrespecting their elders… It’s really cute actually. Like that two year old in the grocery store that screams his head off, curses his mother out, flops on the floor whilst kicking and screaming to get his way. Yea, it’s that kind of cute. On March 24, 2018 March For Our Lives commenced and it was clear that these kids were just pawns in the hands of gun control pushing leftists who are playing a political game.

The media is portraying the student’s activism as if the kids are taking charge and showing the “grown- ups” what they should have been doing all along. David Hogg, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student and front-man of this student led “revolution”, has threatened several times that when his generation comes of age to vote the incumbents will be replaced by Americans that will do something about gun violence. During his speech at March For Our Lives he said, “We are going to make this a voting issue… To those politicians supported by the NRA that allow the continued slaughter of our children and our future I say ‘get your resumes ready’.” Tough guy words.

Another child, Alex Wind said, “People believe that the youth of this country are insignificant… To those people that tell us that teenagers can’t do anything, I say that we were the only people that could have made this movement possible.”

Really? Maybe just a tad bit of pride there?

These kids are simply puppets putting on a show to distract from the rights that are could possibly be infringed upon.

Let’s take a look at who is really making this movement possible. March For Our Lives was backed by, you guessed it, a whole slew of leftists. George and Amal Clooney, Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Oprah Winfrey and Gucci all donated $500,000 to the cause. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen donated $25,000, Bumble dating app and the Miami Dolphins donated $100,000, Joshua Kushner (yes, Jared’s brother) donated $50,000, Eli Broad and Marc Benioff each donated $1 million dollars. Michael Bloomberg, former mayor of New York and Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York also backed the march. So, no, teenagers did not make the movement possible, rich leftists with an agenda did. Those behind the Women’s March contributed as well. It was just one big George Soros party according to Glenn Beck. Check out his break down of the March For Our Lives funding here. The issue is that leftists are exploiting a tragedy and impressionable teenagers to push an unconstitutional agenda.

The child activists do have a right to their opinion, they have a right to say it as loud as they want on as many news networks as they want. That is not the issue here. The issue is that leftists are exploiting a tragedy and impressionable teenagers to push an unconstitutional agenda. The Left are attempting to spark a revolution made to look as if the catalysts were teenagers who survived a horrific event by saying statements like “They are calling this the largest youth led protest since the Vietnam War era.” David Wright, a reporter for Good Morning America said of the march it’s a “coming of age rally”. Martin Luther King Jr’s granddaughter was even walked out on the stage. She’s nine years old! Her bedtime is probably before 8pm and the left are using her as a pawn only because she is related to the most well-known Civil Rights activist. Does she even know that many black neighborhoods were safe from lynching racists only because the men of those neighborhoods wielded firearms? This was during her grandfather’s era!

It is also important to expose the fact that students from Parkland, Florida that don’t comply to the gun control agenda were not able to speak at the march. Kids like Kyle Kashuv, a survivor of the shooting who supports the Second Amendment have not been given much of a platform. Kashuv has been interviewed by Steven Crowder on Louder With Crowder here and Fox News has even given Kashuv a chance to speak his mind concerning March For Our Lives.

Hunter Pollack, the brother of Meadow Pollack, who was shot nine times and murdered by the Parkland shooter, wasn’t given a chance to speak at the march. Listen here to what would have been the end of Hunter’s speech. Of course, the organizers denied his claim. Hunter is not one of the gun grabbing kids that have had microphones shoved in their faces. His father, Andrew Pollack, like Kashuv has met with several politicians in order to create legislation that will not infringe upon the citizens right to bear arms, but will also keep schools safe from mass shootings.

The regressive left would have this nation fundamentally altered and they are using the heartbreak of children to do it.

Do you notice the difference here? Those that are not given a platform to push an illegal agenda are being productive, using the pain they’ve experienced to change schools for the better. The others are using the tragedy of children’s lives as a smoke screen to mask their scheme, the attempt to fundamentally change the nation. The First and Second Amendments are what set America apart from all other nations in the history of mankind. The regressive left would have this nation fundamentally altered and they are using the heartbreak of children to do it. Leftists again have found the perfect puppets, impressionable children who are in an immense amount of suffering and pain.

The media are throwing crying children and outraged seventeen year olds in front of millions of Americans hoping that hearts would bleed enough to yield to tyrannical legislation like gun control. It is truly sickening. Do not be fooled, America. Showing sympathy for victims and survivors of the Parkland shooting does not mean the law has to move one inch. Standing firm on the Constitution and foundational American principles does not mean you don’t have a heart, nor does it make you any less sympathetic. In the face of tragedy and chaos you must hold on tight to the  principles and values that has set this nation a part. Do not give them up in a moment of weakness. That could be costly.
